Steampunk Chic Tutorial

This tutorial was written by me on September 5th, 2020 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP version used: PSP Jasc 9

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. Im using stunning tube by Misticheskaya called ''Steampunk Kate''. You can buy it HERE

PTU kit from Doodle By Design called ''Steampunk Chic''. You can buy it  HERE

Mask By Vivienne 81 HERE

Plugins: Eye Candy 5(perspective shadow),Xero(Moonlight)

Font of choice

Lets start :)

Make sure to save often.

Open new canvas 900x900 and fill with white.

Open Paper 12 and apply mask (Layers-New Mask Layer-From Image). Merge group and paste on canvas

Paste element 112, resize 25%, position and apply shadow 

 

Paste elements 66, resize 20%, position and apply shadow 

 

Paste element 129, resize 25%, position and apply shadow 

 

Paste element 115, resize 40%, position and apply shadow 

 

Paste element 108, resize 35%,position and apply shadow 

 

Paste tube, resize 25%, position and with eraser tool erase bit of knee that is showing, apply shadow

Paste element 150, resize 45%, position and apply shadow,duplicate, resize 110% and position on opposite side

Paste frame 2, resize 55%, position, with magic wand select inside of frame and expand selection by 5, paste paper 10 and resize by 70%,position below frame, invert selection and press delete. (do not deselect yet) Paste tube, resize by 60% and position, press delete and deselect. Change blend mode on tube to Luminance legacy and lower opacity to 75. Duplicate tube in frame and select(select all-float-defloat), apply Xero-Moonlight, time of the day 255, deselect and lower opacity to 50. Apply shadow to frame.

Paste element 17, resize 70%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 113, resize 35%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 25, resize 35%,mirror,position and apply shadow

Paste element 18, resize 60%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 1,resize 35%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 8, resize 25%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 150, resize 60%, mirror, position and apply shadow, duplicate and resize 80%, position

Paste element 45, resize 30%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 64, resize 60%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 112, resize 35%, position and apply shadow

Paste element 157, resize 35%, position and apply shadow

Remove white bg(either by eraser or delete layer n make new transparent one)

Check your tag and make any adjustments if needed. Add copyright info and text.
